Borderline Treason
from Agape Press
..."Borderline treason."
by Bill Fancher
That's how one retired military commander is describing the remarks of some Democrats who continue to attack the White House policy on Iraq.
Following President Bush's speech on Monday on the progress of the war in Iraq, Democratic leaders continued to criticize the effort.
That led to this response from Maj. General (Ret.) Paul Vallely.
He believes the Bush administration is on the right track. "When we get the security forces up and running to the degree where they can provide their own security in Iraq, then we can draw down those forces and reposition them at other bases, not only in the Middle East but back in the United States," he says.
Vallely predicts victory in Iraq -- and the return of troops by the end of 2006.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Another democracy in the Middle East is sorely needed. They are too few. If we pull out too soon and the Islamic fascists regain control then what was the point? Then the sacrifices of our young men and women who have died WILL have been in vain. Vietnam should have taught Democrats that.
- "Howard Dean and even John Kerry ... and many of the others that are [against] the conflict that we have -- trying to going over there in Iraq, trying to bring democracy there -- their remarks are borderline treason because they simply, with their remarks, aid and comfort the enemy." {Cindy Sheehan and her supporters as well......}
